I am from Monroe...Grew up there in the late 70's and 80s...my dad told my mom that he lived in that house as a child. I remember we used to think it was haunted, I would walk to where my mom worked at the bus lot (she was a bus driver for Chester Crowson) and I would cross the street to avoid the house, one time our ball went down the basement steps and I was afraid to go down and get it. I have wonderful memories of Monroe... :)
